Watch/read the summary below

Wura says,
“These 10 things will help you change your perspective on wedding planning and allow you have a stress free wedding planning period. Also, if you have ever felt stressed, angry, frustrated about wedding planning this video will help you put things into perspective. I have been there and I wish someone shared these tips with me before I had my wedding 🙂 but now I get to share it with you!”
See a quick summary below:
  1. Weddings are expensive: Make sure you have a financial plan before you start planning a wedding, make sure you can afford the wedding you’re about to plan. Stick to your wedding budget!
  2. You cannot please everyone: Especially if you come from a big home or you are Nigerian. Everyone will have a say at your wedding but you should only listen to your wedding planner, husband and parents ( maybe your mother-in-law too, better to have her on your side)
  3. Weddings are stressful: They really are but keep your eyes on the end goal, which is your marriage and find ways to mitigate your stress
  4. Your wedding is not a priority to everyone: I could not stress this enough! People have a lot going on in their lives and they will forget to do things you told them to do or be sluggish about it, don’t let this get to you, keep cheering your wedding on!!
  5. You will have loads of arguments: Get ready, with your vendors, parents and even your husband. But never let it get so bad that you push people away, it is just one day, try to compromise
  6. Compromising is key: Compromising is the key to a stress free wedding, you cannot get your way 100% of the time. Meet your vendors, husband and wedding planner in the middle, don’t be a bridezilla
  7. Not everything will go as planned on your wedding day: This is life, things happen. if you have a great wedding planner and wedding coordinators then you have nothing to worry about. But be prepared, anything can happen, go into your wedding with the mindset that nothing will spoil your day 🙂
  8. Always have a plan B: This is so important, you need to be prepared just incase anything goes wrong. If you have a wedding planner, you have nothing to worry about, this is their job, to handle issues or problems that might arise
  9. The day goes really fast, make sure you soak it all in: Soak in every moment, trust me the day goes fast!
  10. The most important thing is your marriage: Through it all, everyone and everything will come and go but your marriage will remain. Focus on your marriage and enjoy the wedding day, if you don’t get what you want, it is okay the wedding day is just a day don’t sulk, the most important thing is your marriage.

Omg! Olympic Athlete Collapses After Pooing on Himself During 50km Walk Race (Photos)

It was an unfortunate thing for a French athlete who was leading the 50km walk race as he collapsed after defecating on himself.

French Athlete, Yohann Diniz
A top French athlete collapsed during the 50km walk after suffering from stomach trouble. The athlete who pooed on himself later got back to his feet and finished the race.
Dailymail reports that Yohann Diniz, the world record holder in the event, was leading the field in the 45th minute when a camera picked up on him beginning to struggle.

A dark liquid starting trickling down the back of Diniz’s legs after he apparently defecated during the race.
An hour or so later he collapsed to the floor, lying there motionless for a few seconds before dragging himself to his feet and soldiering on.
It had been reported by French publication L’Équipe that race favourite Diniz had been suffering from a bad stomach in the lead up to the event.
Shortly afterwards, and with more than a minute’s lead, the athlete collapsed by the roadside, allowing others to pass.

In a moment of solidarity, the man going in to the lead, Canada’s Evan Dunfee, picked up the fallen athlete back to his feet as they continued with the race.
Despite the Frenchman’s best efforts, he finished outside the medal positions, eventually finishing in eighth place. Diniz has never made it to the podium of a world championships or Olympic Games in 20km, his best performance being a silver medal over 50km at the 2007 world championships.

He had to withdraw from the starting line at Beijing 2008 after feeling pain in both his leg and his stomach.

Sunderland 1 Middlesbrough 2: Stuani at the double as Moyes´ injury woes increase

Cristhian Stuani scored two brilliant goals as Middlesbrough earned a 2-1 win over Sunderland in the Wear-Tees derby at the Stadium of Light, with David Moyes' injury problems continuing to pile up.

After his 25-yard stunner flew past Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone in the 13th minute, Stuani rounded off a neat team move before the interval to inflict defeat upon Moyes in his first home match in charge.

Moyes' concerns will be even greater after the loss of John O'Shea to injury in the first half, his exit further stretching a squad already depleted by the enforced absences of Sebastian Larsson, Jan Kirchhoff, Lee Cattermole, Billy Jones and Lamine Kone.

And following the departure of Younes Kaboul to Watford and a back injury to Kone, the Sunderland boss deployed a new centre-back partnership of Papy Djilobodji - the Chelsea loanee making his debut - and O'Shea, while Paddy McNair operated in midfield.

While the hosts found it difficult at both ends, Middlesbrough, and in particular Stuani, were clinical with the chances that came their way.

Sunderland stepped up a gear in the second half and finally got the better of Boro keeper Brad Guzan - in for Victor Valdes who missed out with a hamstring injury - when his spill was poked home by Patrick van Aanholt.

However, despite being visibly rattled by the strike, Boro managed to hang on for the three points and their first win since returning to the top flight.

Aitor Karanka replaced Albert Adomah with Stuani in one of three changes from the 1-1 draw with Stoke City last weekend, and it quickly paid dividends.

Stuani was not closed down by Van Aanholt and used the opportunity to rifle a sensational 25-yard strike into the top-left corner.

It was a blow for Sunderland having been in control until that point, and although they regained their grip on the game the hosts found it difficult to break down the Boro defence.

Moyes had to replace the injured O'Shea with debutant Steven Pienaar in the 37th minute, Jack Rodwell subsequently dropping into the centre of defence.

And Boro added to Sunderland's woes on the stroke of half-time, Adam Forshaw sliding an excellent pass into the box for Alvaro Negredo who showed great composure to cut inside and square for Stuani to round off an excellent move with his second.

Sunderland were booed off at half-time but started to the get the fans back onside and Van Aanholt's low shot from the left-hand side of the box was parried behind by Guzan after 60 minutes.

The pressure continued to build and, after Jeremain Lens and Jermain Defoe had efforts blocked, it paid off in the 71st minute when Van Aanholt pounced after Guzan spilled Duncan Watmore's 20-yard shot.

Adnan Januzaj came close to marking his first Sunderland start with a goal, but the hosts - for whom late substitute Joel Asoro became their youngest Premier League player - were unable to find an equaliser before the final whistle.

Court dismisses Faleke's appeal against Kogi state gov, Yahaya Bello

An appeal filed by James Faleke, ex-running mate of former APC governorship candidate in Kogi state, Abubakar Audu, James Faleke, to nullify the installation of Yahaya Bello as the APC candidate in the state's governorship election has been dismissed by the Appeal court sitting in Abuja.

After the sudden demise of Audu on November 22nd last year, Yahaya was replaced as the APC candidate for the state governorship election.

Faleke had approached the court to argue that the votes polled by the party in the election were his, since he was the running mate of the deceased, Abubakar Audu. Ruling on his appeal today, Justice Jummai Sankey noted that according to Section 221 of the Nigerian constitution, only the party, not an individual, could canvass for votes. Justice Sankey in her ruling, stated that the Nigerian constitution does not recognise independent candidature and so Faleke cannot lay claim to the number of votes polled before the demise of Audu and after the election was concluded.

Justice Sankey added that Faleke was only paired with Audu after the primaries had been concluded but Bello participated in the primary election that produced Audu as the party's flagbearer.

Alleged budget padding: Dogara, others to appear before police investigative panel on Friday August 5th

The Nigeria Police Force have invited Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, his deputy Yusuff Lasun, Chief Whip Alhassan Ado Doguwa and Minority Leader Leo Ogor to appear before a Special investigative panel set up by the acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, to probe the allegations of padding the 2016 budget leveled against them by sacked chairman of the House committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin.

They are to appear before the panel on Friday August 5th. The invitation comes following a petition submitted to the police against the Speaker and the three other principal officers by Jibrin.

The 5-man investigative panel is to be led by Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Amodu Ali. A police source who spoke to the Nation said
"We have commenced full investigation into the N284billion budget padding in the House of Representatives based on a petition from Hon. Jibrin. A Special Investigative Panel (SIP), with a crack detective, AIG Amodu Ali as the chairman, is the one saddled with the responsibility of looking into the allegations in the petition. The same Ali uncovered the lid on the $620,000 bribery scam in the House for which a former Chairman of the House Committee on Fuel Subsidy Management, Mallam Farouk Lawan, and the Clerk of the committee, Mr. Boniface Emenalo were indicted. The case is in court. You will recall that Ali was deeply involved in the investigation of the $180million Halliburton scam. So, the SIP is led by an officer who is tested. As I am talking to you (4pm yesterday), a letter of invitation has been addressed and sent to the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, the Chief Whip and the Minority Leader. They will be interrogated by the SIP on Friday.

As a prelude to the invitation of the principal officers, the SIP chairman and members had a session with Jibrin on Tuesday. It was not a grilling session. But Jibrin furnished the team with vital information and a heap of documents to back up the petition he submitted on Monday. We are going into the merit or otherwise of the petition on Friday by inviting Dogara and three others. It is going to be a gradual thing but we will crack the padding controversy.”
Meanwhile security has been beefed up around Jibrin by the Department of State Security DSS

The Central Naval Command, (CNC) Yenagoa, on Saturday said it seized a vessel laden with 600,000 litres of suspected illegally refined automotive gas oil also known as diesel.
This is contained in a statement issued by Lt. Cdr Edward Yeibo on behalf of the command’s Flag Officer Commanding (FOC). Yeibo said that two of the four suspected oil thieves were arrested while loading the barge with diesel.

He further reiterated the Navy’s Zero Tolerance to crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, illegal oil bunkering and other sundry crimes in the Niger Delta Region.
According to him, the operation, which led to the arrest of the suspects, was in line with the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas’s strategic directive to the Navy.
He quoted the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship SOROH Commodore Habib Usman, as saying that a barge and five wooden boats laden with about 600,000 metric tonnes suspected to be illegally refined Automated Gas Oil and 2 suspects were arrested.

Usman said the suspects were arrested by the Nigerian Navy Ship SOROH around Beama community in Nembe Local Government Area in the waterways within Bayelsa.
The wooden boats were suspected to be used to convey the illegally refined Automated Gas Oil from the refining points to the barge for loading.

“As of the time of the arrest one of the boats had finished trans-loading its product into the barge.
“Consequently, the personnel of Forward Operating Base FORMOSO with gunboats and tug boat towed the barge to its jetty for further investigation.

“However, the wooden boats were destroyed, the two suspects are in custody for preliminary investigation and prosecution,” Yeibo was quoted in the statement.

He added that the FOC, CNC Rear Admiral Mohammed Garba had assured that the Navy will make the sea lane of communication accessible for all legitimate users and frustrate maritime criminalites in its Area of Responsibility.
According to him, there is no hiding place for crude oil thieves as the Navy will continue to sustain patrols in the maritime environment. (NAN)

Kaduna community blame recent earth tremor on the "activities of prostitutes and homosexuals"

Residents of the Hayin Magina area of Ikara, in Kaduna State has blamed the recent mini-earthquake they witnessed, on the "activities of prostitutes and homosexuals." The earth tremor manifested largely on a massive rock and affected nearby houses. It caused cracks on the rock and visible cracks on walls of houses. Some witnesses described it as having been a thunderous noise which sounded like a bomb blast. It woke sleeping residents at about 10:43pm, Daily Trust reports.

Some houses in the area were deserted, as the occupants were said to have left out of fear. The remaining inhabitants, also, are visibly shaken and are still shaking from the experience.

Malam Mustapha Musa, whose carpentry workshop was closed in wake of the quake said the incident is a warning to those who have made homosexuality their trade.
"It’s nothing but a warning from Allah, the most high. Many heartless residents have made the rock a safe haven for raping our young boys. On many occasions, victims were found wounded by rapists around the rock. Parents of some of these boys are still battling to restore them. Those who cannot afford medical bills are suffering in silence," he said.
"Allah is tired with what is happening in Ikara. Apart from the rape of innocent boys, there are many criminal activities taking place here. Most of the perpetrators are known, but it is like they are above the law." he added.
Investigation revealed that efforts of clerics and residents ensured that the old town of Ikara, in Ikara local government area of Kaduna State, got rid of commercial sex workers. A major street in the town formerly called ‘Unguwan Karuwai’, (Sex Workers Area) has been renamed Yaka Malam following the expulsion of the prostitutes, cross-dressers and others from the area.

After that, the town of Ikara has been calm and peaceful until the recent tremors. Sani, one of those whose houses were affected by the quake who described the incident as traumatic.
"Actually, I have never witnessed something like that. When the quake started, my entire house was shaking. I thought that the world had come to an end. It is indeed something that one has to keep reflecting on because it is only Allah that is capable of shaking the earth like that," Sani said.
"Another thing that made many of us to vacate our houses was that the quake reoccurred after about seven days. On the two occasions, the quake occurred in the night."
Sarkin Ikara, Alhaji Aliyu Suleiman, confirmed to Daily Trust that state government officials had visited the site. On associating the quake to sins committed in Ikara, he agreed that Allah uses such incidents to serve as warning. He however said that both traditional and government leaders are taking measures to bring the criminal acts to an end.
"We’ve put measures in place to ensure that anyone caught committing such sins will be made to regret it. One of the measures is to assign the youths to strip the criminal naked and take him round the town before being handed over to the authorities for further action. Those that are seen as leaders, or men of integrity, but engage in such acts, will be summoned and warned to desist. If they refuse, we will expose them. There will be no sacred cows." said Alhaji Suleiman.
Sarki Suleiman also accused non-indigenes for engaging in the unsavoury acts, eventually luring indigenes. Chief Imam of Ikara GRA Juma’at Mosque, Malam Bello Hamza, used the weekly Juma’at prayers that followed the incident to counsel residents to desist from sins that would attract the anger of Allah.

However, a professor of Geography at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Ibrahim Musa Jaro, said earthquakes are usually cause by "compressional and tensional” forces. He also said that the belief of the residents is a religious one that cannot be ruled out, adding that since Allah has warned people to desist from sin, disobedience could lead to His anger.

Hilary Clinton makes history as she accepts the Democratic Presidential Nomination

Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic nomination on Thursday at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia to run as a US Presidential candidate. Making history as the first woman to be nominated for Presidency from a major US political party.
Accepting the nomination, she said:
"I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans, independents, for the struggling, the striving and the successful. For those who vote for me and those who don't."
She said her Republican rival, Donald Trump, was esupremely unqualified for the White House. She added:

"Imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis," she said. "A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons," she said.
Clinton took the stage to roaring applause from flag-waving delegates. But her real audience was the millions of voters who may welcome her experience but question her character due to the leaked emails released by WikiLeaks.
Inregards to that she said:
"I get it that some people just don't know what to make of me."
But her primary focus was persuading anxious Americans to stick with a Democrat for a third term and put aside their frustration with those who have been entrenched in the political system.

Kanye West Crashes Drakes Concert, Shades Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West

Kanye West is apparently still out to draw blood from Taylor Swift in the ongoing feud and he chose Drake’s concert to do it again.

The rapper who has been basking in various controversies in recent times, reportedly crashed Drake’s concert which was taking place in Chicago on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
Kanye used the opportunity to address the issues between his wife, Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift, shading her to the crowd.

Addressing the audience packed into the United Center, the 39-year-old father-of-two said:
“All I gotta say is, I am so glad my wife has Snapchat. Because now y’all can know the truth. And can’t nobody talk s–t about ‘Ye no more.”

Of course, Kanye was referring to the debacle which arose from his controversial single, “Famous,” and following the release of a recorded conversation between Kanye and Swift, no thanks to Kim, the “Bad Blood” singer’s good girl image has been tainted for life.

Although Swift insists that she never gave consent for the second line which referred to her in the song, which she sees as character assassination, no one seems to be listening.

Breaking: 3 Nigerian drug convicts have been executed in Indonesia

It was reported Yesterday that three Nigerians and one Indonesia were executed by firing squad shortly after midnight local time, reports say. Those who were executed have been named as three Nigerians - Seck Osmane, Humphrey Jefferson Ejike, Michael Titus Igweh and one Indonesian Freddy Budiman.

Those who remain on death row include three other Indonesians, a Pakistani, an Indian, two other Nigerians and two Zimbabweans. It is not clear why their executions did not proceed.
"Of course there are considerations for it," was all Deputy Attorney General for Crimes, Noor Rachmad would say. He said those who had been executed had filed for judicial reviews twice and both were rejected.
There has been no confirmation yet from the government. The remaining 10 are expected to be put to death in the coming days. Human rights organisation Amnesty International condemned the executions as a "deplorable act that violates international and Indonesian law".

Relatives had gathered there earlier in the day to say goodbye to loved ones. It also said 17 ambulances were sent to the island - 14 of them carrying coffins, Jakarta Post reports.
All 14 had been moved into isolation cells ahead of the executions. A vigil was held outside the presidential palace on Thursday night to protest against the executions, although most Indonesians support the death penalty for drug offences according to opinion polls.
The government insists they are a necessary deterrent in the war against drugs, with officials regularly citing statistics that 40 to 50 people die from drug-related causes a day.
"It is an action to stop the rapid spread of drug in Indonesia - today Indonesia has become the main destination in the Asian market," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Arrmanatha Nasir.
